Thats right the Great Zucchini Contest is this Saturday! Bring your great big vegie to Billings hardware to win awesome awesome prizes! I vote after this contest we have a baking/cooking contest with the Zucchini?! YUM YUM I love that this contest along with "Montana Bale trail....What the hay?" has landed on the same weekend. Oh the many reasons I love Montana. The little travelocity gnome has take a journey all through my tiny town and my old stompin' grounds. Makes me super homesick, I was watching the videos today recognizing people remembering the places I worked and getting so so excited to go home for the big weekend. I even saw my mom in a video! Pretty rockin tiny town we got there. Zucchini are Great!

And great for you! Did you know that the darker the Zucchini the more nutrients it has?! Or that the skin contains most of the good stuff for ya so don't peel it! They are also a great source for vitamins A & C, folate, potassium,A zucchini has more potassium than a banana! I have been learning alot about Zucchini because of The Great Zucchini coming up this Saturday and I was surprized at how much people really do love love love Zucchini!

Did you know A soap bar called Fresh Zucchini Flower Big Bar Goat's Milk Soap (rolls off the tongue, no?) is made with real zucchini. Not only can you eat zucchini but I guess you can shower with it as well!

One zucchini has just 25 calories (compared to a baked potato, for example, which has 130 calories). The flower of the zucchini plant is also edible. (If you dare.)

It's hardly spring yet and we are already making big big summer plans....weddings, camping, boating trips....and of course CONCERTS!!! Rain Drops Keep Fallin On My Head.......

Not a Huge fan of the Rain....but I love the fresh smell it leaves!! Plus it's way better than the snow for sure! All in all it's not so bad. Maybe I do like it....I am such a girl! Can't make up mind! It also means we are that much closer to spring.... summer.. and all the fun stuff that comes with it. WOO HOO!!

So I have yet to see Avatar...but thats going to change next Friday. Because not only am I going to watch it...I am going to watch it for you FREE. WITH YOU! Ya true story. Its free Planet night at the Drive in Theatre in Laurel! All you gotta do is say your with us and its free. Kinda like we're takin you on a date...but without the awkward will they call will they text me after... :) 2 Great movie..ZERO dollars for you! Cruise to the events page for full details. So I am totally enjoying the beautiful spring time weather for now...but I know better. I am pretty sure it won't last. True Montanans know you can't celebrate spring until your well into summer and by then you better be gettin ready for winter. But for now... who cares ITS BEAUTFIUL!! Track is going to be starting soon and who doesn't love that?! What a fun sport...run jump throw.. I can do that? Ya your right probably not, but others sure do a good job. All in all its just one more sign we are gettin closer to summer! And I am in Major need of sunshine and some outdoor recreation!!! And the Planet will give you plenty of that! Whoa Weddings

So I am glad We decided to wait a full year and a half to tie the knot cuz Jeez Louiz is it expensive! I mean I have heard but $3,000 dollars for catering. Really? I couldn't believe it. Makes me wonder why I haven't started a catering business. But it will all be worth it in the end.

We had another Say I Do At The Zoo Event this weekend. Looks like it was lots of fun too. If you missed it you can check it out in the on demand section. One lucky couple will get the whole beautiful day free. Luckies!!! I am talkin flowers, location catering, rings all of it. How nice is that!!!! All they have to do is....well compete. Make sure you get to know the lovely couples. I better be scooting to work. Duty calls!! Have a super duper day!!!

It's finally here!! Christmas! One stocking is hung by my television with care. I only have one so I can't really hang more than that...I better find one for the mister by next year huh? I am so glad it is finally time for the family to get together and stuff our faces and relax. Lots of traveling this time of year so if you are one of those people be safe...click or ticket they say! If you still have a few left on your Christmas list and the wallet is feeling a little less than full cruise through the website and fite the rest of the stockings. You could land yourself $250.00 in Wal Mart Gift cards. Thats a whole lot a Christmas! You know how many Candy Canes you could buy with that!? LOTS! Thats alot of cavities, maybe just use for other Christmas stuff instead. Just make sure you find all five stockings and your winner. It's that easy! I better quit chatting and get to eye spying!

...is pretty jacked to be going to Jason Mraz tonight in Bozeman. Our limo - the giant stretch Hummer from Limo Scene and Carriage Company will be departing from Rimrock Mall at four o'clock. No one really knows what time we'll be back. I'm guessing sometime around 1:30ish? That's AM mind you. Maybe I'll get to nap in the car on the way home with all of our lucky trip winners? Yeah right! Pics and Video should be up on the web for you to check out on sometime on Thursday.

Ales for Trails is Friday night at the Depot. If you love beer, or would like to support bike trails in our area, this event is for you! Did I mention the beer? 40 different microbreweries will be showcasing their fine brews, and you can try them all! Good beer for a good cause... it doesn't really get much better!
