It's time to start gearing up, registering your team and raising funds for the annual Relay For Life. We all know someone who has been affected by Cancer and this is an opportunity to continue the fight against such a ravishing disease.
Teams of people camp out at the Billings West High School track and take turns walking or running around a track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event- because cancer never sleeps, so neither shall we.
As part of the Relay, luminaries will be lit in honor of the hundreds of people affected by cancer. All luminary funds help fight this disease that claims so many lives. Luminaries may be purchased for $10 each.
Luminaries will be lit at 10:00pm the night of the event and will light the way under the stars to remember those lost to cancer, those fighting cancer, and those who have fought cancer and won.
All cancer survivors are invited to join us as our honorary guests in the Survivor Lap, which opens the Relay For Life.
